CIY Move Conference
June 11 - 16, 2012
Who: All High School Students (including graduating 8th graders and seniors)
What: Christ in Youth (CIY) MOVE is a 5-day high school only event held all over the country, designed to amplify the call of Christ on student's lives to become Kingdom workers. Located on college campuses across the nation, MOVE provides a program for 25,000 high school students every summer. Students are challenged through intense, interactive worship, dynamic preaching, small group study, and community building. Students at MOVE not only learn and worship together but also spend quality time with their church youth group, discovering ways that God will use them to be a greater help to the world. The Aaron Pelsue Band is scheduled to be the Worship Leader & Brian Mills is the Encounter Speaker. The Band was a huge hit with students two years ago & some of the current Unite songs came from that week at CIY!
Where: Anderson University, Anderson, IN
Why: To better our realtionship with God and with one another, and to have fun!
How Much: $300. Completed registration form and a $50 deposit is due by Tuesday, May 1. Remaining balance will be due by Sunday, May 27. Sign up and receive more information in the Fellowship Hall or contact Angie Brocato.
2012 High School Mission Trip
Who can attend: All students graduating 8th grade to graduating from High School
Dates: July 21 to 27
Location: Appalachian Mountains in Wheelwright, KY
With (Organization): World Servants www.worldservants.org
What’s Included: Transportation to and from KY (we will travel by van), one night stay at hotel on the way down, three meals a day, housing at a local school or church, training and on-site leadership, construction materials, community outreach program, evening worship services, t-shirt & devotion guide
What will we be doing: Construction - home improvements, painting, ramps, etc. and sports camp outreach. No experience necessary! One free day with the possibility of hiking or rafting.
